When I started this Challenge in April, I had high hopes that it would allow me to get on a good workout track and see the kinds of results that I would be excited about. Unfortunately I didn't honor my body's need to recover from an adrenal problem and mercury poisoning. This challenge has made me accept that there are times I cannot do what I want to do and there are times I need to call a halt to excessive demands on my body and my time. But it has also clarified that I can do some T-Tapp moves and apply its principles to my daily activities, no matter how I feel. As a result I lost inches in spite of interruptions and inconsistencies. I lost inches and didn't gain weight and didn't lose ground while I worked with these other issues.
I also had to change my diet during this period and eliminate all glutens and mild products.
During the three months, I was able to do Basic Workout Plus every week, with some weeks completing as many as 4 or 5 Basic Workouts, 1 or 2 Total Workouts and all getting as little as 1 Basic Workout and Organs in Place (OIP). I have also done Awesome Legs some during the past month after OIP. During the full challenge period I have been Body Brushing at least 4-5 days per week. During this period I have taken several clinics from T-Tapp Instructor, Kiona Leah, wherein I worked on Basic Workout Plus, Total Workout, Step Away the Inches (SATI), and Hit the Floor (HTF). I have problems with SATI and am not physically ready for HTF so I am working on strengthening my abs and OIP with high hopes for HTF. I also have significant problems with Total Workout, but am working on that as well. I have significant problems with over the head moves and with balance moves. I emphasize technique rather than doing all of the moves, and respect my need to rest between moves in some instances.
As a T-Tapp Trainer-In-Training, I am very disappointed that my plans and my body didn't work together on this effort, but our bodies have many ways of helping us address its needs. In the extreme, we get heart attacks, strokes, cancer, and a whole myriad of diseases and conditions…but if we listen we get small messages which can give us an opportunity to live productive lives. I got the message from my body and although I may be disappointed I am not incapacitated. As my body heals I will use T-Tapp to continue to maintain and improve my physical health and stamina. It is one more way that I address my body's needs. I know it is the best exercise program in the world for me. I am 67 and adding a year at a time, but I am not aging at the same rate because I know and use T-Tapp and I listen to my body.
T-Tapp helped me lose 15.5 inches in this challenge while I continued to work with my body to get my adrenals operational, minerals absorbed and nutrients metabolized. I feel better and know T-Tapp was responsible for some of the improvements in the way I feel and all of the inches lost. Even when things aren't ideal, we can use T-Tapp to make a difference.
