60 Day Challenge - 2007
Category Winner
Average to Lose

Carmit K.
Combo/LT

T-Tapp is a weight off my mind. My search for the workout that will deliver the results I was hoping for is over. What a relief!

Never before had I joined a challenge similar to this one but as soon as I read about it on the T-Tapp website I wanted to take part. Consistency was not among the reasons why I've joined. At the time of entering the challenge I was already doing the T-Tapp workouts for 8 months consistently. I loved the changes I felt were happening on the inside but changes on the outside took longer. The challenge gave me the opportunity to deepen my knowledge of the program and how it affects the body, target areas I wanted to improve and look for a weekly schedule that will be the most effective for me.

When I first learned about T-Tapp I was drawn to many things about the program. But one thing I wasn't quite sure about: the claim that it's a wellness workout. Wellness is a word so often used in connection to products in many ads, that it seemed to me that might be the case here as well. But now, after Tapping since September 2006 and especially after this challenge, I finally understand what is meant by a wellness workout. For me it is the feeling that T-Tapp slows down those unwelcome processes that are age or lifestyle related, such as weight creeping up, slouching posture, slower metabolism, hormonal changes - it's a long list! I look in the mirror and I see a younger face, better skin, better posture and tighter body. I feel stronger and muscles are taking the place of stubborn fat deposits. Organs that were heading 'south' are lifting back 'north'. Wellness indeed!

I hope my dieting days are over. Past experiences with various diets resulted in weight gain and disappointment. Eating balanced meals and in moderation is what I strive to do. It means no deprivation or feeling hungry. With T-Tapp I can eat well including occasional treats. My journey to goal will be longer but I'm willing to be patient, knowing this is the right way for me.

Setting an example for my daughter is very important to me. Having discovered this program at the age of 42, I am so glad that I can give her the gift of T-Tapp at the young age of 14. This knowledge will serve her well all her life and can prevent or slow down so many of the problems women tend to struggle with as age and unhealthy habits take their toll. Thanks to this challenge she has started following the program as well.

I'm most thankful to Casey, T-Tapp Staffer, who kindly and patiently answered my questions, offered support, suggested changes in my workout schedule and tweaked my form without ever seeing me, relying only on my written measurements. Not having the possibility of working out with a trainer I have found the email exchange with Casey invaluable! Thanks to the changes I have made in my workout, I have finally started to lose inches and begin to see those much hoped for changes on the outside.

Thank you so much, Teresa, for creating this wonderful program that is truly a gift of health and knowledge. You are a fabulous teacher! I am proud to belong to the T-Tapp community around the world and hopefully will be able to join the T-Tapp retreat!
