“Holy cow” That’s what I kept saying to myself when I compared my before and after photos. I even sent the pictures to a couple of girlfriends to show them the difference and had the title “holy cow” in the email subject line. They were astonished! As am I!
I have had my T-Tapp tapes for several years. As a matter of fact, I have some of the first measurements I ever took in the same drawer where I tucked the tapes away for so many years! About 3 years ago, I did have a period where I T-Tapped frequently and saw great results. Problem is, I didn’t stick with it, but I knew it was the best workout I could ever do!
At some point (sometimes many) in your life I think you have this “ah-ha” moment and you know that if you want a different result, you are going to have to perform some different actions. (Just like in these workouts when it comes to form!) I’ve been single for a very long time, mostly by choice, as I decided to forgo dating in order to raise my son. But, he left for boot camp 3 years ago this June. And I started dating. And I didn’t like the guys who were attracted to me. They were overweight, not in good health, and overall I was not attracted to them and I knew that’s not what I wanted. Although I have tried over the last 4 years or so to take very good care of my body from a medical and mental perspective, I wasn’t taking care of my body from a physical perspective.
Then I had it. That moment where I knew I was only going to attract a different kind of person if I were a different kind of person. Why would anyone that is mentally, medically, physically fit be attracted to me? Mentally, physically, yes, I had those things, but not the physical. So I started on a weight loss program and although I had great success at it, I still wasn’t where I wanted to be. I was flabby, and still not at a size where I felt comfortable in my own skin. I knew I would have to exercise. And I knew my only option to sculpt my body into the Diva I wanted to be was T-Tapp.
The timing of the contest couldn’t have been better either. My son was due to deploy in early May. And I knew I needed something that could keep me focused and my mind off of the fact that my one and only was thousands of miles away. I truly believe T-Tapp has helped me to not be depressed through this deployment, because I certainly was during others. The only thing different this time was T-Tapp!
Out came the tapes, the tape measure and an attitude that I will NOT give up. Due to travel, etc. the first month was not as consistent as I had hoped it would. At the half way mark, I wasn’t too excited with my progress. So I dug my feet in and made sure that I T-Tapped regularly.
Now, at the end of 60 days, I couldn’t be more pleased. I have a 28 ½ inch waist! I can’t remember the last time my waist was that small!! I just got home from shopping and bought size 4 shorts! I’m ecstatic! The greatest thing is, I spent, maybe, 30 minutes a day working out! There were a few days in the beginning where I would do a TWO, but I’m just such a busy person, I didn’t want to spend an hour working out. So, I would do the BWO +, Arms Sequence (on occasion), OIP/HF/Elevators and the last two weeks I added Awesome Legs. What an awesome result!!!
Another added benefit was such great improvement in my posture. I’ve been Ballroom dancing for about 2 ½ years now, and although I believe it has improved my cardio function, it has not done anything to change my weight or size. My teacher for these last years has always said: “Straighten up your body! Tuck in your backside! Use your core!” Only after I started T-Tapping did this start to happen! As a matter of fact, he noticed a difference in my dance frame within ONE week!
Here’s some great news I have to share! I’ve recently met someone very special and he has all the criteria I was looking for + some. He thinks I’m hot and that I have an amazing body! The great thing is, I think the same thing about him!
One more great praise: Just a few days ago, I had swollen lymph gland on the right side of my neck. At first it was just annoying, but then it got bigger and very uncomfortable. Remembering Teresa’s story about how she brushes to keep a lymph node in check had me reaching for my brush. Sorry to say, I really didn’t think it would help. But “holy cow”! I did a few light brushes over the area and in seconds the lymph node had drained and I felt so much better! Thank you Teresa! I will never, ever doubt you again and I look forward to learning so much more on how to be even healthier and svelte than ever before!
I’ve already signed up for a training class so I can continue to keep my focus and will again take before and after pictures. I look forward to saying these words over and over again: “holy cow!”
