The world of T-Tapp was introduced to me in 1997 through a Woman’s World magazine article. I had just given birth to my second child and had plenty of inches to lose.
I ordered the tapes, did a two-week bootcamp and low and behold lost 12 ½ inches in one week! I couldn’t believe it and had to contact the T-Tapp office to see if this was even possible. Sure enough, it was true and I was ecstatic. But then life continued, I was soon pregnant again and let T-Tapp slip away.
Years later, after having my fifth child, I again found myself at my all time high weight and out of shape. Months of bedrest caused the pounds to pack on and worst yet, I could barely walk up our small flight of stairs without losing my breath.
Enough was enough so I decided to join a gym and dedicate myself to going 3-4 times per week. Sure enough several months later, I lost 60 lbs and started to see my body reappear. However, there were still plenty of inches to go that seemed to be at a standstill. No matter what new classes, machines or exercises I tried, my body remained flabby with plenty of loose inches.
The gym’s monthly fees were also very expensive and then suddenly life turned upside down as our family faced severe life challenges. With no money for a gym membership, T-Tapp suddenly popped into my mind. I immediately went to the T-Tapp website and found the 2008 T-Tapp challenge was beginning the very next day. Just what I needed!
A friend of mine said one of the best words of wisdom at about this time. She said, "Don’t fall into the depressive eating trap but instead focus on a positive". My positive was T-Tapp. Besides the emotional stress of major family challenges and just beginning a business, my body ached and throbbed with pain almost continually in my shoulders, back and hips. My chiropractor says after all his years in practice, he has not seen anybody with as many knots and tight muscles as I have.
I began doing T-Tapp Tempo almost daily for two weeks. Even though it has actually happened to me before, I was again shocked when the inches began to disappear. My body felt SO good and chiropractically in-line that after day four, I actually was excited and looked forward to T-Tapping. It felt like my body craved it and couldn’t wait to T-Tapp.
I continued to T-Tapp as often as possible in the midst of the craziest time of my life. If a day was completely booked and I was running from day to night, I did T-Tapp in segments. I would begin in the morning with the Primary Back Stretch and would do 5-10 minute segments throughout the day. Even though it was not done at one consecutive time, I got my T-Tapping in throughout the day.
During this most difficult time period in my life, I continued to focus on the positive and not let the negative in my life overtake me. Come to find out, our family challenges were solved, my business took off and I continued to T-Tapp. I do attribute T-Tapp to helping me deal with life stresses, build a stronger body and help me through a very difficult time. And now, the most glorious re-union and re-building of my marriage.
If I was so blessed to be a contest winner, I would hope to motivate and inspire other women that even though life may be difficult, we can ease the situation with taking care and attention to our bodies. We don’t have to spend a ton of money on a gym membership. We don’t need to be pulled into the negative but instead focus on the positive and say no to the depressive eating trap so many of us have experienced. T-Tapp is much more than an exercise video or program, it is truly a unique, total body workout and experience that all women will appreciate learning about.
