T-Tapp 60-Day Challenges are great motivation and the accountability of the forums, especially Habit Formers keeps me honestly trying my best in the workouts. So, first, thank you to all who coordinate this special event for all of us.

This year’s challenge was especially “challenging” for me. Due to an upper respiratory infection and the inability to do the Primary Back Stretch (PBS) because I got dizzy whenever I put my head down, I began the challenge 2 weeks after it started. I had 3 weeks clear and then another bout of the same. Frustrated, I went to the forum and asked for suggestions to get the problem cleared up quickly. Thankfully one Tapper suggested Hoe Downs because it pumps the lymph. I had not been doing them since they are usually done after PBS but decided to take the suggestion and boy, was I glad. After 3 days of doing the Hoe Downs I was better and able to finish the challenge without any more bouts.

Not only do I feel better from my struggle with UR illness, I also have constant nerve pain from a spinal cord injury. T-Tapp has been a blessing for me. Last year at the end of the challenge I was able to discontinue all my meds except a muscle relaxer at bedtime. Winters are bad since the cold causes muscle tightness that irritates the already inflamed nerves so I went back on all my meds once it got cold. This year after 2 weeks of T-Tapping, I found that I once again could drop the nerve and pain meds and take the muscle relaxer at bedtime. However, I often forgot to take it at bedtime because there was no muscle tightness and pain to remind me to take it. So, I’m off my meds completely – hooray! Since I hate to take medicine, I am elated to not to take them. Plus I’m stronger, more flexible and my doctor said to continue what I’m doing since my back muscles are feeling really good. So, I shall.

My bunions do not hurt anymore, my arches are not flat but my stomach is getting flatter – all of which are achievements that I have not been able to reach before T-Tapp. I have more stamina and a bounce in my step which has been missing for a long time. More to be thankful for!

T-Tapp is the complete package for many reasons. I’ve learned many important things about my body, exercise/fitness, diet and personal care. Moving the joints helps with lymphatic pumping which seems to have helped with my arthritic ankle, the swelling and pain is much lower. With the compound muscle movements, I sweat a lot! It feels good to sweat for cleansing and fat burning. Just doing the MORE workout makes me sweat buckets… burn fat, burn! The God Made/Man Made way of eating (when I adhere to it) makes all systems operate much better and I lose weight faster. Then there is the skin care - body brushing which I love. My Massage Therapists comment on my soft skin but brushing seems to be help firm my skin and it just feels so good!

But, T-Tapp has offered me even more than the relief of pain and increased strength and stability. To me there is an equally great value in losing unwanted (and unhealthy) fat. With each size I lose, my self-esteem rises. My husband notices the inch loss but mostly he notices the confidence and smiles. It’s a great feeling with each size I lose! My goal is a ways off but I will continue T-Tapping because I hope 2BFitAgain! Thank you, Teresa Tapp!
