My journey with T-Tapp began eight or nine years ago, shortly after the stillbirth of our sixth child. During the next two years, I lost 70+ pounds and fit into a size 6 again! I was hoping to fit into a 10, boy was I surprised!
After entering my forties, I began struggling with hormonal pudge. This amounted to about 5 pounds and several inches which isn't much, but I was freaked out! The pounds and inches came from nowhere and weren't going away, so I was worried that everything I lost was coming back. I did NOT want to be fat ever again. Last year I decided to attack the fat in a different way to see what would happen. I drastically cut down my sugar intake and stopped eating after 7pm (except for weekends when our schedule is different). This, along with entering the Challenge last year, helped me get into a size 4, not comfortably, but I was on my way. I was blessed to be a Third Place winner in my category and was able to attend the Retreat! It was a wonderful experience! I lost nearly 20 inches which AMAZED me!
This year I knew that I had to enter the Challenge again. The beginning of it was right in the middle of the craziness of getting ready for our fourth daughter's graduation and graduation party. I'm telling you that T-Tapp kept me sane! I was pulled in 5 different directions and as long as I T-Tapped in the morning, I was able to think clearly and had energy to accomplish my tasks for the day. Since her grad party, I've been able to concentrate more on longer workouts. I did a 4 day Maxi Max #3 standing bootcamp and noticed differences. Since the bootcamp I've done varying lengths of MM3 Standing as well as Ladybug Standing workouts.
I am so thankful to have learned about T-Tapp! I am at a weight and size that I was in high school! This workout continues to give me mental clarity, flexibility and better digestion. T-Tapping is a way of life for me! I won't ever stop!
As I said last year, I hope to win this contest so that I can attend the Retreat in October, but even if I don't, I have the satisfaction of a task completed!
