60 Day Challenge
Winner: Basic Workout Plus/Step Away the Inches Category

Elliott Martin

I had done well with basic plus last year, but got in some bad habits and out of the exercise routine. When a friend mentioned the contest, I thought it would be a great way to get motivated.

I decided to do PBS and Step away. I did 5 days out of 7 the first week and noticed I was feeling better-more energy, sleeping better. Then I sliced up the bottom of my foot - no KLT then - and it took almost 3 1/2 weeks to heal. But I wanted to continue, so I got back in a routine for the final 4 weeks. PBS and Step away for 5 days out of 7 each week. I didn't change my eating habits. By the end of the period, I had lost 6 1/2 inches total and gained 1/2 inch in each arm (which for a man was a good thing!). I noticed other improvements-better posture, more defined shoulders and deltoids (and I found my lats!), more flexibility, along with the increased energy. I also found that the workouts got harder each time, focusing on keeping the tuck and shoulders back. I plan to keep with this routine so I can be in even better shape by the end of the year.
