Carol Heinrich
Lena, Illinois
Certified T-Tapp Trainer
American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer
carolh@t-tapp.com

Hi, I am Carol Heinrich. I live in the northwest corner of Illinois (Lena). I certified with Teresa Tapp for the Total Workout in 2007 and returned to Safety Harbor, Florida to certify for MORE and Hit the Floor in 2008 and for Ladybug in 2009. I have had the privilege of training directly under Teresa Tapp at 8 of her fitness and trainer events. Working with and learning from other trainers has also helped to expand my understanding of T-Tapp and strategies for effective training. Teaching T-Tapp classes on average 3-5 days per week and conducting workshops and providing private T-Tapp training since 2007, has helped me to gain valuable insight into the application of these principles to real people in real life. I have found much satisfaction in helping people of all ages and all fitness levels to improve their health and fitness, including three T-Tapp 60-Day Challenge category winners in 2008 and a Grand Prize Winner and Runner Up in 2009.

My life experience, ongoing self-study and background in Professional Nursing have proved valuable assets in working with clients. In my nursing career, I worked with people with a wide range of health care needs and always had a heart for health promotion and education. As a nurse, I administered medications and treatments and provided comfort measures and advocacy. As a trainer, I administer work outs. Although I am not currently practicing nursing, I see this season of my life as a continuation of the essence of nursing as an educator and health promoter, specializing in preventative and restorative wellness.

I believe that my personal battle with weight helps me to understand the struggle others face and to compassionately coach them. I am convinced that a truly successful weight management program must have a health- first focus. T-Tapp offers that. Fads, gimmicks and speedy short term solutions can actually do more harm than good, physically and emotionally. I strive to help individuals to attain effective long term results.

You can read my personal success story with T-Tapp. My desire to share “the Wellness Workout that Works” with others and help them to reap positive health benefits like I did remains my main reason for wanting to be a T-Tapp Trainer. (I am a slow loser, but the good news is that I seem to be slow to gain now that I have gotten it off! I have lost 2 sizes since the taking of my original T-Tapp Trainer photo & have changed my hair more than a few times. I hope to update it for you soon.)

I am honored to be one of Teresa Tapp’s trainers. I am passionate about using my knowledge of T-Tapp, my experience as a lifelong learner, educator and trainer, as well as my nursing background to help my clients achieve their wellness and fitness goals. If you would like my professional assistance in helping you or your loved ones to get the most out of their T-Tapp workouts, contact me @ carolh@t-tapp.com.

I am willing to offer classes and workshops within a 60 mile or so radius of my home on a regular basis, if there is sufficient interest. I teach weekly classes in my home studio and have experience in public speaking. I usually travel to the Phoenix area in the spring and fall. I can do a limited amount of travel to do workshops. If you don’t have a trainer nearby and you would like some personalized coaching, I have been approved by Teresa for video form analysis and phone coaching for distance training.
