Hi, my name is Kim. I live in Southern New Jersey with my wonderful finance and 3 boys. We own a family nursery and landscape business.

I have always been fit and into fitness. I have tried every workout out there. Up until my late thirties it was easy to maintain my figure. But after I had to watch EVERYTHING I put in my mouth and found myself on the 1-2 hours 5-7 days a week doing some type of work out program. I tried low carb, fat free and lastly Somersizing. As soon as I cheated I would gain over night.

I remember speaking to a personal trainer one time who said that running burned the most fat. And because I’m obsessive I was running 5-6 miles a day 5-6 days a week thinking that I would be able to eat again. I was bigger than I am now! One week before my 40th birthday I woke up to the most horrendous pain in my left hip. It was hard to walk, sit, and lay down. Turning over in bed was horrible. I had an MRI done and they found I had a hip reaction a common occurrence in long distance runners. I was unable to do anything physical and in 8 weeks of not doing anything I had gained about 15 pounds! I had watched my Mom and sister struggle with weight all of their lives and being overweight was one of my fears. Such a fear that I obsessed with my workouts and eating habits. It ruled my life!!!

One day I was on the Suzanne Somers forums and notice a tag that said, “I lost 8” with T-Tapp in 2 weeks”. I went to the site and thought, “Here I go again. Why not? I have tried everything else”. I was convinced that T-Tapp would not work for me anyway. Well I start T-Tapp in December of 2006. I slept through January of 2007 (I suffered with insomnia and night sweats prior) I probably lost a few inches too but was amazed that I was sleeping so soundly. I was so much happier.

In 2007 I joined the 60 day challenge and won 1st place in Less to Lose (LTL) category.
I went to Safety Harbor and it was amazing. What amazed me the most was Teresa’s passion and knowledge. Each and every move of the Total Workout has a purpose, designed in a specific order to maximize the benefits. Just amazing to me!

Now, I work out 2 or 3 times a week for maybe 20-30 minutes. I do choose to eat 85-90% organic. I LOVE to cook and I actually eat what I cook now. I don’t feel guilty drinking wine and eating cheese anymore. I’m still amazed to go through the holiday season and eat everything in sight and still not put on weight.
